This is the large bright-rayed crater seen to NE of "Outgoing View" from Mariner 10 The smaller lower crater with the bright centre is named Degas, the larger one directly above is named Brontë. See Shakespeare Quandrangle Map (next picture) for more detail and names of surrounding craters. |
